hi there, finally you came here.
I'm Naoto, Japanese Music Lover born in 1971, obsessed with music since 1981.
I taped a music from radio with my first boombox. That was a beautiful melody, soothing sound and amazing voice. I was not sure what song was about. I didn't even know the song title. One day I read the article about that song and I realized the song was released in my birth year, and the lyrics was protest songs against racism. That song is Marvin Gaye's "What's going on." This experience gave me so much interests in music.
My first fave artists that era are Marvin Gaye, The Beatles, Prince, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Wham! like that. 80's are big era for me. So much great foreign music can be heard on the radio in Japan.
Without Internet, I could find favorites and play loud them everyday.
It's been over 40 years passed but I still do the same. Looking in the mirror, there's an old man, but never lose interests, affection and passion on music.
I worked as A&R for 10 years, I learned so much about music business and I found there were lots of great music unveiled. I love to find good music!
Let's share fave music each other.
